Stefano Capezzone
CEO & Cofounder
An electronic engineer, he founded Fastal in 2008 after co-founding and leading Avantica, a software development company serving the telecommunications sector. More than thirty years in ICT across mission-critical projects, cybersecurity and applied artificial intelligence, with clients including Telecom Italia, Poste Italiane and Enel Distribuzione. He chairs the Communication and Services Union of CNA Roma and sits on the Smart City Lab board of the City of Rome.

A graduate in Electronic Engineering in 1989, he worked on hardware and software development in the security and military applications sector. An expert in telecommunications, database systems and big data, after a career as a top manager in nationally significant high-tech companies, in 2008 he moved into entrepreneurship, working on gambling and AML systems.
